Actor Louis Gossett Jr. (L) and his son, Satie Gosset, attended the 43rd NAACP Image Awards held at The Shrine Auditorium on February 17, 2012 in Los Angeles, California.

Louis is famous for his role as Gunnery Sergeant Emil Foley in the 1982 film 'An Officer and a Gentleman'. He has also starred in 'The Deep', 'Jaws 3-D', 'Enemy Mine', 'Toy Soldiers' and 'The Punisher'.

Louis is also known for his foundation, 'Eracism', dedicated to eradicating racism.
