Spike Lee, director of the new film 'Red Hook Summer,' along with his son Jackson, 15, were on the red carpet on Monday for the premiere of the film in New York City.

The film is about a middle-class boy from Atlanta who's worldview changes as he spends the summer with his deeply religious grandfather in the housing projects of Red Hook, Brooklyn.
