Jillian Michaels’ dream of becoming a mom is inching closer to reality.
The super trainer – who, back in February, revealed she was leaving her post on NBC’s “The Biggest Loser” to focus on adding to her family through adoption – says she’s been paired up with a child, and the only thing standing in her way is paperwork and a trip stateside for her future little one.
“I’ve been matched with a little girl,” Jillian excitedly revealed to Billy Bush and Kit Hoover on Friday’s Access Hollywood Live. “But, I now have to get her home… It could take up to a year to get her home.”
Jillian, 37, met the girl she is hoping to adopt on a trip to Haiti.
“I went over to visit orphanages and I ended up falling in love with this little girl, and by the grace of God, I got matched up with her,” she said. "So now, it’s just a matter of trying to get her home and anything can happen and fall through or fall apart, so it’s kind of premature for me to say it, but that’s where it’s at."
