Little Diva: Quvenzhané Wallis’ ‘Annie’ Contract Specifics Revealed

Quvenzhane Wallis may play an orphan girl in the remake of the classic movie “Annie”, but in real life she could be quite the little diva, as evident in contract terms for her new movie.

According to documents acquired by TMZ, the 10-year-old has a deal that sets her up for a serious check.

She is set to receive:

— $750,000 base salary
— $750,000 bonus if the movie does super good
— 5% of profits
— 5% of all merchandising
— 10% of sound track album royalties

In addition to her monetary deal, Quvenzhané’s name cannot appear lower than second position, which means her name will likely appear above veteran actress Cameron Diaz.

The perks don’t stop there! She gets unlimited Wi-Fi in her trailer and the power to veto any bloopers before they are released.

As far as promotion of the film, the young star is guaranteed 3 dressed to choose from. Once she chooses the one that best suits her, it’s hers to keep under the circumstances that she does not sell or lend it to anyone.

The final stipulation in her contract is her image can be used to promote the film but not the sale of alcohol, tobacco, firearms, feminine hygiene products and pharmaceuticals. It also prohibits producers using Quvenzhané’s image for gambling, except her image can appear on Pachinko machines.

Whew! This littler star’s list of demands is long, but what else can you expect from Miss Wallis who at 9 became the youngest Best Actress nominee in Oscar history for her work in “Beasts of the Southern Wild”?

“Annie”, which also stars Jamie Foxx and Cameron Diaz, is slated to hit theaters on Dec. 19, 2014.
