First Look: New Charlie Brown “Peanuts” 3D Teaser Trailer

Get ready to welcome Charlie Brown, Snoopy and the rest of the Peanuts gang back to the big screen! For the first time ever, Charles Schulz’ timeless comic strip characters will be seen in a CG-Animated Feature Film.

The last time Peanuts characters saw feature-length screen time was with 1980’s Bon Voyage, Charlie Brown (and Don’t Come Back!!)The upcoming feature animation film was written by Craig Schulz, the son of famed Charles Schulz who created the beloved comic strip more than 60 years ago.

“We have been working on this project for years. We finally felt the time was right and the technology is where we need it to be to create this film. I am thrilled we will be partnering with Blue Sky/Fox to create a Peanuts movie that is true to the strip and will continue the legacy in honor of my father.”

Charles Schulz died in 2000 due to complications arising from his colon cancer.

Peanuts is expected to hit theaters on Nov. 6, 2015 which marks the 65th anniversary of the first Peanuts comic strip and the 50th anniversary of the television special Charlie Brown Christmas.
