Father-Son Dance Routine Steals The Show At NCAA Championship

Rob “Big Rob” Maiden and his son, Trey, made Monday Night’s NCAA Championship game all about them by delivering a performance that had everyone glued to the Jumbotron.

Late in the first half, Maiden, captain of the Dallas Mavericks dance team, and his 15-year-old son performed a dance routine to Pharrell’s mega hit “Happy.” 

The dancing duo practiced and perfected the routine the night before the college basketball’s tournament finale Maiden told the Associated Press

“He gets to see me be a ham all the time,” Rob Maiden said of his son. “I thought this was a chance for him to get some shine.”

The father and son’s performance was flawless and crowd couldn’t get enough of them.

Now that the video of Rob Maiden and Trey is making the rounds on social media, seems like internet viewers can’t get enough either.

As of 1:30 PM ET, a video uploaded to YouTube has been viewed more than 110,000 times.
