Usher To Executive Produce Educational Documentary ‘Unstoppable’

According to The Hollywood Reporter, multi-Grammy winning artist Usher will serve as executive producer for the documentary “Undroppable, which explores America’s dropout epidemic.

Usher was brought into the film’s production by Justin’s Bieber’s manager Scooter Braun, who is also a producer on the project.

“I knew Usher was very passionate about the issue of education, so I felt this was a great project to bring him into,” says Braun. “His expertise will be invaluable as we continue this film and movement.”

Usher and Braun willl also be joined by Adam McKay, Sharon, Chang, Alex Soros and John Powers Middleton as producers for the project. The documentary is written and directed by Jason Pollock, “Undroppable”  is expected to release sometime this year.

The R&B superstar is no stranger to getting involved in educational campaigns and production.  Usher started a non-profit organization in — called Usher’s New Look that is “dedicated to engaging disconnected youth in finding a path to leadership and career, according to the official website.

As for experience with producing, the current The Voice coach produced Bieber’s concert documentary, Never Say Never.
