U.K. actor Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje was accompanied by his adorable son at the 11th Annual Dubai International Film Festival last week, where he used the platform to discuss his involvement in a locally made animated feature to be announced in January.

“It’s a traditional Arabic folklore legend that has been forgotten but is being brought to a modern audience in a new and exciting way,” he told reporters without dishing details. “What you will see next year is an animation that is really and truly pushing the bar on many levels. It’s almost as real as it can get without being real.”

The film will center around a slave who lived over 1,000 years ago in the Middle East, but as a decendant of African origin.
