Harry Potter’s story may have come to a cinematic end, but as the new Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them trailer proves, there are still plenty of tales about the wizarding world to be told.

The film follows wizarding world magizoologist Newt Scamander (played by Academy Award winner Eddie Redmayne) as he races to recover the creatures that have escaped his magical briefcase before they cause a noticeable amount of trouble in the no-Maj (American term for Muggle) world.

In the trailer, we learn that Scamander was kicked out of Hogwarts for “endangering a human life with a beast” and has since dedicated his life to collecting even more beasts. The film seems to have a good balance of keeping the feeling of the beloved stories that started it all (Fantastic Beasts takes place about 70 years before Harry, Ron and Hermione make their way to the school of witchcraft and wizardry) while introducing a new and different setting.

And for the Harry Potter fans that have been wondering if any characters from the series would be name dropped in the film: the answer is yes. Take a look at the magical trailer below to find out who and get a look at the American wizarding world:

Along with Redmayne, the movie stars Ezra Miller, Katherine Waterston, Carmen Egojo, Colin Farrell and more.

Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them heads to theaters November 18.
