Fans of Warner Bros’ get ready because Road Runners arch-nemesis Wile E. Coyote will be making his way to the big screen.

According to Deadline, Warner Bros. will be developing a full-length animated film titled Coyote Vs. Acme, which will star the unlucky Loony Tunes character. It is reported that Jon and Josh Silberman, producers behind Living Biblically, will write the forthcoming film – with The Lego Batman Movie director Chris McKay serving as producer. The beloved coyote is a part of the iconic Looney Tunes that includes Bugs Bunny, Porky Pig, Daffy Duck, Tweety, Elmer Fudd, Yosemite Sam, Marvin the Martian, Tasmanian Devil, Sylvester the Cat, Speedy Gonzales and more. The silent character first debuted in the 1949 segment “Fast and Furry-ous” and appeared in several episodes, attempting and failing to get his hands on the Road Runner.

This is not the first time Warner Bros. explored the Loony Tunes universe. In 2003, the entertainment company released Looney Tunes: Back in Action. Before that, Warner Bros. released the 1996 classic Space Jam, which earned over $230 million worldwide.

For now, it is unclear what the plot for the fill-length film. However, it is safe to say that fans and lovers of the Looney Tunes universe will be ready for Wile E.’s silver screen debut.
