Sleepovers

Invitations to sleepovers and slumber parties are common, but the timing of when you allow your child to a sleepover has much to do with when you and your child feel safe with spending the night away from home.     Yolanda Day I agree that it definitely depends on how comfortable the child is and how comfortable the parent is too. Sometimes it takes time for parents to be "ok" to the idea that their child is going to be spending the night someplace new. At least I know that I am!

    Dorothy West I was not big on sleepovers! Never let mine sleepover! When my son turned 13 or 14 I agreed to let 3 of his friends sty over night!

    Kita B. You have to be real picky these days. Its not safe to let your kids out of your site. I think its sad you can't allow them to be kids.
